JULY 2010 MEETING: CAMP AND BREW, July 16-18

This year's campout will again be at Bodega Dunes Campground in Bodega Bay from Friday, July 16th until Sunday, July 18th. Even if you are not able to camp you shouldn't miss the big BBQ and potluck on Saturday night. Join Tyler and Megan and brew your own batch on Saturday! Expand your creativity by incorporating coastal ingredients such as oysters, redwood tips, cypress, tree bark. AUGUST 2010 MEETING: BREWING AT BEAR REPUBLIC, August 8.

Once again Rich Norgrove will open his Bear Republic Cloverdale brewery to the Beerocrats (see pictures from 2008). We will run off wort from a Racer 5 mash at whatever gravity you want. Then, on to the hop room for your choice of hops, plus he will provide yeast. All you need to bring is a burner, kettle, carboy and chiller. SEPTEMBER 2010 MEETING: HUMMULUS LUPULUS, Sept 8.

Our Sept meeting will be a presentation on hops. The meeting will be at The Beverage People classroom on Wed, Sept 8th at 6pm. Committee member and professional brewer, Tyler Laverty, will be the speaker. The club will buy pizzas. Bring homebrew.
